ORBIT
Make a space simulation that runs in the browser, get cool space prizes!
ORBIT is a programme for teenagers aged 13-18.
ORBIT is a Hack Club You Ship, We Ship (YSWS) programme where you are challenged to build an interactive space simulation/sandbox that runs in the browser. In return, your project will be added as its own star in the galaxy, and we'll ship you some neat prizes based on the number of hours of quality work you spend developing your project.
How it works
- Build an interactive space sim that runs in the browser
- Deploy it to a public URL (GitHub Pages, Vercel, etc.)
- Track your hours with Hackatime
- Submit a PR to add your project to the galaxy
- Get awesome prizes once your project is approved!

What counts as a sim?
A sim is a model that emulates something, whether this should be accurate to real-life or not is up to you! Your project needs to be interactive so people can change the starting conditions or affect the simulation in some way. It also needs to be visual, space-themed, and run in the browser with no downloads. Check out the guide for more details and information on how to submit.
